The objective of the Activity-Based Learning (ABLe) Program is to experiment with different techniques to make all stages of learning application-oriented and to make the learner an active participant in the process of his/her own development. The pedagogy followed here can be summed up as follows:
I saw, I heard ... I knew,
I discussed, I thought ... I understood,
I did ... I mastered.
Through this program we have developed various laboratories as learning environments (Space Lab, Jr. Science Lab, Arts Lab, Kindergarten Lab). Alongside new labs to 
teach new technologies and some old concepts which do not easily find place in today's exam-oriented curricula, we have also modified the various experiments taught in the curriculum, so as to enable a fuller understanding of the basics. This program is also the progenitor of various intellectually & emotionally stimulating activities under the banner of Stimulus as well as serious programs to develop research skill, such as the Summer School. Thus the program primarily governs all the labs.
