To assess an individual one must be aware of the purpose of the assessment, (whether to pass him/her to the next course, or accept into employment or something else) as well as the content and the method of assessment. For a general education institution like ours we have defined a certain number of Skills & Abilities for students of different levels and under different courses or subjects. The content that we test upon is usually the defined curriculum with a few modifications from our side. However, it's the method of examining which is of utmost concern.
The schema of assessments, i.e. how many and which types of exams we hold through the year and the distribution of marks therein can be obtained from the link below. The Prototype is essentially a paper pattern with consideration to which skills to be tested using what question types and in how much time or length. Due to intellectual property concerns we have presently encrypted the data. The current version is available to staff only.
